For our film poster we are going to use split photo's with Molly on one side and Alfie on the other. This photo illustrates Molly's side of the landscape poster. We've chosen to photograph her in the snow because we think it is fitting to her story and role in the film. The cancer is a cold miserable part of her life. We plan to photograph Alfie in the sunshine sitting on the other side of the bench to show he is the light in her life.
This photo will be used for the portrait poster, in this we have decided to swap the roles and make Molly happy in this one. Her open posture gives the impression she is a bright, friendly and cheerful character and when Alfie is photographed next to her he will have a miserable stature to mirror his darker emotions, whereas Molly's reflects her optimism.
