Anatomy of a Costume - Mum

This is the costume Molly's mum wears throughout the film. As Molly's Mum is played by me a 17 year old it was vital the costume aged me. We decided to go for the dress on the left as it is smart a sophisticated and something a teenager wouldn't wear. The blazer chosen adds a work look to the dress to give the audience the idea she is a working mum.

To finish the costume off i chose to add my glasses to add an intellectual look to the outfit and also hide young looking eyes. The more of the face covered the less obvious of my age and the more believable the character becomes.
